Early Life and Education
Chimezie born January 7, 1992, was born and raised in Lagos state and is from Orsu LGA in Imo state. Chimezie grew under strong care and nurturing from his parents, Mr and Mrs. Imo. Chimezie is a Christian and has always been passionate about church and at Seven, he was already in the church choir group.
He completed his primary and secondary school education at Jabi Primary school and Government Science secondary school respectively, with both located in Abuja.
Chimezie later further his education by pursuing a Bachelor of Science Degree in Applied Ecology at Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU).
Career
In 2014, Chimezie started acting professional making a significant impact as the runner-up on the Nigerian talent show, ‘The Next Movie Star Reality Show’. This status helped paved way for him in the Nigeria entertainment industry.
His first Onscreen play was in a film titled “Learning Curves”, he went on to feature in notable TV shows such as “The Origin” and the comedy “90 Gogoro”.
He took his acting role a step forward in 2018, portraying the role of a young man influenced by peer pressure in Shuga Naija, bringing him more fame and recognition. The same year, he starred in a role as one of 4 friends in a comdey show “Kasala”.
Chimezie took the role of a teenager dealing with drugs in the movie Nimbe in 2019, earning him his nomination at the Best Actor Future Awards in 2020 and Most Promising Young Actor at the Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA) in the same 2020.
