Early Life and Education
Pastor Dunsin Oyekan was born November 5, 1984, in Illorin to his Pastor Mr and Mrs Gbadebo Oyekan, the former General Overseer of the Evangelical Baptist Church. He always admired music at an early age that he started playing the guitar at 10 year old.
Dunsin Oyekan attain his primary and secondary school education in Airforce Nursery and Primary School and Baptist Model High School respectively, with both situated in Illorin, Kwara State.
He then pursued a degree in Industrial Chemist in the University of Ilorin and bagged the degree.
Career
Dunsin started music quite early by playing the guitar at an early age of ten. He was also a member of the choir of his church and also led processions multiple times with his passion for music. He was invited to perform at concerts and other gatherings of Christians.
The talented musician and now a general Overseer was once a one-time Music Director of the Avalanche of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA) in Ilorin, Kwara State.
Over the years, Dunsin has released several albums and gospel songs.He also has numerous outlets via which he spreads the Gospel. He is the organizer of the yearly Healing Room Worship Event, the Code Red Worship Concert/Experience, the Victory Tour, the Outpouring, and many more musical concerts.
The Code Red Worship Experience is a bi-annual prophetic worship event and prominent gathering where men meet God’s Spirit in worship and his song has gone on to be popular among alot of christians.
Dunsin who has sang, written and relesed lot of song has also featured/ shared the stage with top artists including Tasha Cobbs, Kurt Carr, Don Moen, Byron Cage, Tye Tribbett, William Murphy, Kim Burrell, Sinach, Tasha Page-Lockhart, Frank Edwards, and Freke Umoh amongst others.
