Early Life
Nwabali was born on June 10, 1996, in Rivers State into an Igbo Christian family, he hails from Ogba–Egbema–Ndoni and grew up in Port Harcourt.
Career
Stanley Nwabali started his career with Go Round FC in the NNL, the second tier of Nigerian football. After an impressive campaign in 2017, he helped the team achieve promotion to the NPFL for the first time in their history.
In Go Round’s debut NPFL season, Nwabali kept eight clean sheets in 12 home games. Although the league was postponed indefinitely, he caught the eye of two-time CAF Champions League winners Enyimba, who signed him the next season.
After two years with the People’s Elephant (where he won an NPFL title), Stanley Nwabali made the switch to Wikki Tourists in July 2020. In May 2021, he signed for Lobi Stars, before moving to Chippa United in March 2022.
Nwabali’s affair with the Nigeria Professional Football League ended in October 2022, when he joined Chippa United in South Africa. However, his debut didn’t come until 30th December, when he saved a penalty in a 1-1 draw at Stellenbosch. Stanley Nwabali became the team’s starting goalie in August 2023.

Stanley Nwabali made his Super Eagles debut in a friendly match against Mexico in September 2021. However, that game didn’t go as well as he had hoped, as he conceded four times in a humiliating 4-0 loss.
After that loss, Nwabali did not earn another cap for Nigeria’s national team for over two years. Super Eagles coach Jose Peseiro made the trip to South Africa in order to watch Nwabali in action; and in the same month, the former Lobi Stars goalie was called up for the Super Eagles’ 2023 AFCON squad.
