Early life and educationÂ
Wale Ojo, was born on September 9, 1968, in London, England . He hails from Ojo, Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria. He is of British-Nigerian nationality.
After receiving his early education in the United Kingdom, Wale Ojo completed a  part of his high school in Ibadan Nigeria. He then completed his studies at the University of Hull.
Parents and family
Barrister Joseph Adeleye Ojo, Wale Ojo’s father, had six wives, hence he grew up in a polygamous household. Wale’s parents divorced when he was still young and he was raised by his mother who was also an actor. His father passed away at the age of 91, after battling with cancer.
Unfortunately, there is limited information about Wale’s siblings, despite coming from a polygamous family with several brothers and sisters. He chose to keep the information to himself.

Career
At the age of nine, Wale Ojo began acting, and at the age of eleven, he wowed the audience at a Children’s Day event sponsored by UNICEF at the Nigerian Institute of International Affairs. He made his UK debut in the east end of London in 1986, playing a teenage Othello. Ever since, Wale has graced stages all throughout the United Kingdom.
WNTV IBADAN, Africa’s first television station, included drama shows and soap operas, which helped Wale establish himself as a well-known actor in his early years. A Doctor Despite Himself by Molière, Macbeth by William Shakespeare, Beer Parlour Philosophy by Bode Osanyin, and Langbodo by Wale Ogunyemi are just a few of the well-known plays he directed.
Wale Ojo appeared on television shows like Kidivision 101 and One Big Family that were produced by NTA. In multiple Nigerian cinema productions, he worked with prominent industry figures like Tunde Kelani, Wale Adenuga, Michael Udoh, Sadig Dada, Charles Novia, Joke Silva, Femi Oke, Lekan Balogun, and Kingsley Omoefe.
Among his outstanding contributions are the comedic series Meet the Adebanjos (2012–2014), for which he was nominated in 2018 for an Africa Magic Viewers Choice Award for BEST COMEDY ACTOR. In addition, Wale won praise for his performance in the hit movie Phone Swap, which led to him winning the Nigeria Lite Entertainment Awards’ BEST ACTOR title.
He most recently appeared in the television series Blood Sisters and the role of Timi was portrayed by Wale Ojo in the 2023 film Breath of Life.Â
