Career

In order to assist his twin brothers when they started their music careers as PSquare, Jude Okoye gave up his profession as a rapper. When Jude Okoye started his career in the entertainment sector in 1994, he was a huge lover of film production. He started making music and launched a rap album in 1995. Later, in an effort to broaden his horizons, Engees moved to Lagos.

Jude Okoye managed Square’s record label, which signed Peter and Paul Okoye, better known as Psquare. May D, who is currently signed to Davido’s DMW record label, was among the other musicians signed to the label.

The CEO of Northside Record, where Nigerian singer Cynthia Morgan was formerly signed, is Jude Okoye. When Psquare was together, he was regarded as the brains behind the group’s several successes. Jude Okoye and Psquare collaborated on a number of projects before their breakup, including Game Over, Get Squared, Last Nite, Danger, The Invasion, and Double Trouble.
