Early Life

Gbubemi Ejeye was born into Mr. and Mrs. Ejeye’s family. On June 29, 1995, she was born in a private hospital in Lagos City.

Her formative years were spent in a middle-class neighborhood in Lagos State. Gbubemi Ejeye was born in Lagos but is originally from the South-South region. She is an Itsekiri girl from Delta State.

Gbubemi Ejeye longed to be a lawyer as a young child and worked hard in school to reach this aim. She learned she had a talent for acting as she grew older. Participating in school plays and musicals sparked my passion in performing. Her passion for acting eventually trumped her desire to practice law.

Education

Gbubemi Ejeye comes from a middle-class household and was fortunate enough to obtain a good formal education.

Career

Gbubemi Ejeye returned to Nigeria after finishing her undergraduate studies to observe the required National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program. She began working in the media industry after completing the program.

Her acting career began in November 2018 when she appeared in Color Me Pink, a stage production at Terra Kulture. The stage drama dealt with breast cancer. Her triumph on stage cleared the path for her to enter the Nollywood industry.

Gbubemi Ejeye began auditioning for film roles in Lagos and was cast in several of these films. She has worked on feature films, short films, web series, drama series, and television programs over the years.
