Born on December 22, 1982, in the upper West Region of Ghana, Samini was raised by Mr. G.A Samini and Theresa Nusala. He attended Holy Family Basic School for his early education before moving on to St. Margaret Mary Secondary School in Dansoman for his secondary education.

Samini’s journey into music began at the tender age of 14 when he joined a church choir, setting the stage for his eventual rise as a professional musician. In 1999, a musical collaboration with another artist propelled his career forward.
