Relocating to Ghana in 2012, $pacely formed a music group with his friend Art Soul Kojo during high school. Known for his ad-lib skills and dubbed “Keanu” because of his hit song “Digits,” $pacely made his mark in the Ghanaian music scene.

In 2016, $pacely crossed paths with the young Ghanaian producer Kuvie, leading to the creation of his debut single “Love on Drugs” featuring Darkovibes and Nxwrth, who are now fellow members of La Meme Gang.
