Early Life And Education
Originally from Ghana, Osei’s upbringing was marked by constant relocation due to her mother’s career as a diplomat for the United Nations. This led her to live in countries such as South Africa, the USA, and India.
Upon her return to Ghana, she attended school at the SOS and later obtained a bachelor’s degree in art from the University of Ghana. Continuing her education, she pursued studies in law at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA).

Career
Beginning her career as a magazine publisher and writer during her university days, Sika Osei had her works featured in various publications including Canoe Africa Magazine, Bella Naija, and Mania Magazine. She continues her publishing ventures with her own magazine, “Beauty After 30 Magazine.”
After completing her law studies at GIMPA in Ghana and becoming a solicitor in 2013, Sika decided to pursue her childhood dream in the media industry.
She kick-started her media career in Ghana by becoming the first female host of the Phamous TV entertainment show on Viasat 1, after being given the opportunity by Director Gyo. Subsequently, she joined BBnZ Live as a presenter, earning the title of the first lady of the company.
Her career continued to flourish as she auditioned and secured a co-hosting role on the Africa Magic Urban Dstv Channel 153 show, “53 Extra.”
Sika co-hosted the show until its conclusion in 2020, during which time she also ventured into acting and expanded her hosting repertoire to include entertainment shows, red carpet events, fashion shows, and travel programs.
In addition to her hosting and publishing roles, she is a film producer under her company, “The Creative Inc.,” with credits including producing movies like “3 Nights Ago” and “Guilty.” She has also worked on music videos for Ghanaian musicians such as KiDi, Akwaboah, and Cina Soul.

Personal Life
Sika Osei announced the passing of her father, Mr. Osei, on November 8, 2020, just days after his death. In a video on her YouTube channel, she shared that he had battled multiple myeloma before his passing, which occurred a day before her mother’s birthday in a hospital.
Amidst the challenges of the pandemic, Sika Osei and Douglas postponed their wedding plans multiple times before finally tying the knot. Their traditional wedding ceremony took place on Thursday, October 21, 2021, in Accra, blending Ghanaian and Nigerian cultures.
The couple exchanged vows in a white wedding on Saturday, September 23, 2021, at the Sandbox Beach Club in Accra, followed by a reception with performances by artists like Efya and Kidi. Shortly after, they embarked on their honeymoon to Johannesburg.
The couple recently welcomed their first child, a daughter, in September 2024. Sika shared her emotional journey through pregnancy on social media, expressing hope that her experience would inspire other expectant mothers to remain positive and resilient during challenging times.
