Early Life And Education
Born in 1992 to Mr. and Mrs. Bello, Fresh VDM entered the world in Togo before relocating to Nigeria as a teenager. A southwest Nigerian by origin, he spent his early years in Lome, Togo, under the guidance of his parents, both devout Pastors of their church.
Growing up, Fresh’s love for music blossomed, leading him to explore his talents as a multi-instrumentalist. Once a choir drummer, he quickly added piano-playing to his repertoire during his formative years.

During his time in university, Fresh VDM developed a keen interest in music production and dedicated himself to mastering the craft. Quickly honing his skills, he began creating beats for emerging artists within his school community.
Not long after, Fresh VDM crossed paths with Dremo, who was then affiliated with APG Records. Impressed by Fresh’s work, Dremo enlisted him to produce beats for his projects.
In 2016, when Davido signed Dremo to his newly established label, DMW, Fresh VDM followed suit. He played a pivotal role in creating the label’s inaugural single, “Back To Back,” featuring Davido, Mayorkun, Dremo, and Ichaba.
