Early Life
Born in Paris, France in 1987 to Sudanese parents, Bas was raised in a Muslim household. At the age of 8, his family relocated to New York City, where he attended St. Francis Preparatory School in Queens, marking the beginning of his journey in the United States.

Bas launched his music career with mixtapes Quarter Water Raised Vol. 1 (2011) and Vol. 2 (2013). He gained exposure through features on J.
