Bishop David Abioye was born in 1961 in Kwara State, Nigeria. He grew up with a strong Christian foundation but initially aspired to become an automobile engineer, studying Mechanical Engineering at the University of Ilorin.

After a long and dedicated service to Living Faith Church, Bishop Abioye officially retired from the ministry on October 18, 2024.
