Senior adviser in the Council of Economic Advisors Moses Kuria stirred political debate by suggesting that the Deputy President of Kenya should come from either Meru or Embu in the next election after the impeachment of Rigathi Gachagua.
In his tweet, the former public service, performance and delivery management addressed the Kikuyu community, referring to a “domestic debt” that should be paid by supporting leaders from these two regions. READ FULL STORY

“My beloved House of Mumbi. In 2022 we paid external debts by voting for a non-Mt Kenya candidate. Time has come for us to complete the debt-paying season by supporting our Meru and Embu siblings to lead us. History will judge us right. Take it from your economist son.”
