Born on June 12, 1990 and hails from the vibrant streets of Kayole, a district in Nairobi, Kenya, Jones’ mother bestowed upon him the name Ouko Robert in memory of the esteemed Kenyan statesman Dr. Robert Ouko, who tragically lost his life on February 13, 1990.

Career

Kickstarting his musical journey as a young student, Khaligraph Jones first stepped into the spotlight at the “Words And Pictures” event in 2008. It was in 2009 that his talent shone bright as he clinched the Channel O Music Video Awards Emcee Africa title, propelling him into the realm of international recognition with impressive speed.

The release of his inaugural studio album, “Testimony 1990,” in June 2018 marked a significant milestone in his career.
