Early Life And Education

George Albert Stone III, better known by his stage name EST Gee, was born in Louisville, Kentucky on May 11, 1994. Raised in Clarksdale Projects and Tubman Court, he attended St. Xavier High School and went on to play football at Indiana State University and Sac City College, eventually transferring to Stephen F. Austin University.

After dropping out of college in 2016, he served four months of house arrest for drug trafficking. In 2017, he briefly played football for the CFL team the Winnipeg Blue Bombers before embarking on his successful rap career.

Career

During his house arrest, EST Gee discovered his passion for rap after watching Lil Baby perform on TV. He started releasing music on YouTube as “Big Gee” before adopting the stage name EST Gee, which stands for “Everybody Shines Together”. He gained a local following and released his first two mixtapes, “El Toro” and “Die Bloody”, in 2019.

His third mixtape, “Ion Feel Nun”, brought him mainstream attention in 2020, followed by “I Still Don’t Feel Nun” later that year. In 2021, EST Gee signed with Collective Music Group, Interscope Records, and Warlike, and featured on Lil Baby’s single “Real as It Gets”, which debuted on the Billboard Hot 100.

In a matter of weeks in early 2020, EST Gee experienced a devastating series of personal losses. First, his mother died from leukemia, and then his brother was fatally shot in Louisville just one week later.
