Early Life and Education
Jeriq, born on May 6, 1999, in Anambra State and spent most of his early years in Enugu state, where he attended secondary school and graduated.
He then proceeded to Enugu state University of science and technology where he obtained his first degree.
Career
Jeriq rose to prominence with the release of his debut single titled “iyoo”. The track went on to become one of the hottest songs on the streets, particularly in the eastern part of Nigeria.
Overwhelmed by the performance of his debut single and the love he received from fans, he decided to maintain his relevance by cementing his name in Nigeria’s music scene as one of the finest indigenous rappers. He accomplished this by releasing a follow-up track titled “No More Nlaka”, which featured Zoro
Jeriq went on to release a six-track EP “Hood Boy Dream”. He recruited phyno on the remix of “remember me”, one of the tracks off the EP. In 2021, He joined force with Dremo to release a joint EP, “Ea$t N We$t”.
In 2022, he continued his momentum by releasing his highly anticipated debut album, “Billion Dollar Dreams,” which featured collaborations with some of the biggest names in the Nigerian music industry, including Flavour Nabania, among others.
